Q: What is the Reviews API and how do I authenticate?

You create an App Key in the Feefo Hub to get a Client ID and Secret. You then use these to request an OAuth 2.0 Bearer Token, which you include in your API headers. Tokens last for 4 hours.

Q: What events can Webhooks trigger on?

Webhooks trigger when feedback is created, published, or updated (including merchant replies). You can also filter these triggers to only fire for specific star ratings or NPS scores. Note that webhooks do not contain PII and do not retry if your server fails to respond.

Q: Are Webhooks rate-limited?

There is no hard "requests per second" cap, but Feefo does not retry failed webhooks. If your server is down or slow (HTTP 524), the data will not be resent, so your endpoint must be fast and reliable.

Q: Is webhook delivery guaranteed (retries on failure)?

No. Feefo webhooks do not retry if your server fails to respond or returns an error. To avoid losing data, your endpoint should acknowledge the request immediately (HTTP 200) and process the data in the background.
