Syndication enables merchants on Feefo's network, who sell one or more of the exact same products as other merchants within the syndication network, to share product reviews (rating, count, and content) with each other for display within Feefo's Reviews API and Feefo Widgets.
This is achieved through a shared identifier Feefo applies to the products within the syndication network which groups the exact same products together automatically across multiple merchants, of which by extension groups product reviews together for all merchants of those products within the syndication network.

Feature Update: Optimised Feedback Widgets
Effective April 26th 2022, Feefo customers can now update their feedback widgets to our new SEO optimised feedback widgets which boosts rankings and improves overall page performance. New customers that join after 25th April will automatically be enrolled to the updated widgets.
Existing Feefo customers will have the option to roll back to the legacy widgets until they are depreciated on 28th March 2023. We encourage all existing customers to move over to the updated version of the feedback widgets to ensure high performance levels and benefit from a smoother customer experience.
By default, all customers and new customers will be enrolled into the Feefo branded feedback widget style. You can opt out of this and customise your feedback widgets to your brand style by visiting the widget settings under the widget gallery within your dashboard.

Feature Update: App Key Functionality
To bring us in line with best practice, you can now generate multiple App Keys within the Feefo Hub, making it easier to manage access for third-party providers who need access to your review data.
Previously, merchants could only have one API key. This new feature brings with it numerous improvements to security and flexibility, including:
- OAuth 2.0 is now used, the industry standard protocol for authorisation, making API calls more secure
- Specify what data can be pulled per App Key and filter by sales tag, giving you greater security when sharing keys with third parties
- When you no longer want a third party to have access to your data, simply delete their App Key rather than generating a new API key altogether
- Third parties do not need to login to the Feefo Hub, as you can generate and manage their key for them
