What is the Google Shopping Feed
Google Shopping feed is a type of slideshow (or carousel, if you’re familiar with Instagram/Facebook post types) feed of products related to your search result.
However, what makes it different from social media posts is that it’s composed entirely of Google ads—which you as a searcher don’t necessarily have much control over.
For businesses though, it gives you an opportunity to provide contextual-based ads instead of purely behavioral-based ones (using third-party cookies for example, which Google is phasing out).
How it works
After providing feedback through Feefo, customers are seamlessly taken back to the business's page. We've introduced a convenient feature—a small banner—that makes it effortless for users to transfer their Feefo ratings and reviews straight to Google reviews with just a click.
- The customer completes a Feefo review and is navigated back to the business's page
- They spot and click on the 'Share my review on Google Maps' option
- This action swiftly directs them to Google, where their review rating and text are pre-populated, ready for submission.
- By posting the review on Google, it amalgamates with existing reviews, cumulatively achieving a new total of Google reviews
